Luxury & fine quality, made with luxe fabric. Wool is a textile fibre made from the fleece or fine undercoat of sheep, goat and other animals, once it is examined by a professional wool classer, only a small portion of the fleece is graded as long filament luxury fibre used to produce high-end fabric. Ancient Incas called it the “fibre of the Gods” and reserved it exclusively for the royalty.
Made with the finest Himalayan Wool, this lady’s stole is drenched in the exquisite beauty that lies in nature. The soothing hues have been derived from some exotic herbs found deep in the mountains.
In the little village where it was created, wool weaving has been practiced for more than 4000 years. Painted entirely by hand using natural plant-based dyes, the earthly tones of the kalamkari edges add to the pristine charm. It took almost a month to put together this work of art. Such stand-out pieces are rare to come by. |
